Kilbronogue House is a luxury 1870's West Cork coastal retreat at the edge of the stunning Mizen Peninsula, tucked between the famous coastal villages of Ballydehob and Schull, with views across Carbery's Hundred Islands to Fastnet Lighthouse.

Stylish and spacious the house is exclusively yours when you book, and is perfect for intimate family events, relaxing times with old friends and even working from home.

Built in the 1870s as a 'Modern' Traditional West Cork Farmhouse, Kilbronogue House owner Sinéad has been working on the house since the turn of this century, blending old and new, to create this stylish rural retreat. Kilbronogue House has a unique setting. The Gulf Stream runs along the coast creating a temperate climate, a landscape of exotic beauty, the drama of Atlantic storms and wonder of dark night skies.

Relax in the Long Room, sitting in front of the wood burning stove with views to The Fastnet, in silence or enjoy the music and movies; have long slow dinners in the Dining Hall or cluster around the Kitchen Island for warm casual drinks and meals; explore our wild secluded garden.

Then off to one of the four bedroom suites for deep relaxing sleep, after a sunset stroll to one of our local coves or a 'Dark Sky' watch to catch a shooting star.

“If you want a perfect antidote to life in the fast lane, Ki/bronogue House is the place to go! It is spacious so even a large family can avoid each other if necessary! The rooms are beautifully furnished and the overall feel of the place is homely and extremely comfortable. The kitchen is large and very well equipped and there are plenty of logs to make a cosy fire in the stunning sitting room). It is close to Schull and Ballydehob where we had lovely meals (The Porcelain Room, Nicos and Antonios) and managed a few pints of the black stuff (Rosies and Hacketts). We would highly recommend this fabulous house to anyone who wants to stay in a stylish and luxurious place in the middle of beautiful countryside where peace and tranquility is guaranteed.

Thanks to the owner Sinead for allowing us the opportunity to stay in her gorgeous home. We will return!”
