The Dining Hall is the perfect place for that special meal - to sit back, relax and enjoy the good company of friends and family. If you don't want to cook there are Chefs who will come and cater for you at home or lovely ready cooked meals from local high quality restaurants. No driving involved or babysitters required (although I can advise on where to get both).
“Sinead has an incredible home & is a very experienced host. We visited for a family holiday & the house was really suitable for our group as the living space, kitchen & dining area allow for socialising together or apart giving everyone space in the house. Recommend bringing bikes as there's a great swimming spot nearby, easily accessible on bicycle, Schull & Ballydehob are also easy cycling distance if you prefer to leave the car parked up. Plenty of other cycling routes too for keen cyclists. Fields Supervalu Skibbereen. Eating out options were limited in the area due to not all restaurants yet open for dining (June 21), but we were given a great tip to visit Fields for a Seafood Platter to take back to the house, best food we had all week.”

Casual
Gather round the large oak kitchen island to chat, cook, read the papers, have aperitifs, laugh and sometimes even cry. The kitchen is the heart of this house. It was the milking parlour before our kitchen so has always been full of life. Take note of the slit windows to let air in and large birds out so the cows would not get bothered while at their work.

“The farmhouse was a great place to stay, we used the Long Room every night. We explored the grounds . Such a beautiful property. Went into town, people were nice, food was good. Good value for a large family traveling, accommodated our 15 month old grand daughter. We would highly recommend this property and Sinead was most helpful”
