There is no public transport to speak of so you do need a car. However there is a taxi service in both Ballydehob and Schull for airport transfers as well as general local trips - you need to book in advance - numbers supplied.
“Sinead's home is a stylish, large country residence in a beautiful rural setting, 4 km from Ballydehob and 6 km from Schull. There are endless quiet country roads and a gorgeous pier 10 minutes walk from the house. We walked into Ballydehob skirting the Atlantic with pretty inlets and piers. The house is very cosy and comfortable with lots of nooks and spaces to relax. The gardens are also very pleasing and enjoyable to relax during warm spells. We kayaked from Schull and took a trip to Cape Clear which was fantastic. I am familiar with the area, there are many wonderful restaurants and health stores with fantastic local produce. Sinead was especially prompt in all her communications and a pleasure to be in contact with. I would recommend this house for a holiday in the stunning surrounds of West Cork.”
